Being a Catholic school teacher is one of my greatest accomplishments, and I have been blessed to share my talents and training with many children over a period of 14 years at St. Turibius School in Chicago, St. Mary School in Park Forest, and Everest Academy in Lemont and presently at St. Damian. In addition, I ran my own private tutoring business and was a permanent substitute teacher in the New Lenox District 122 Schools while raising my sons. I have taught in the capacities of grades 2-5 where my love for intermediate grade level curriculum, instruction, and students was established.
My family and I have been parishioners of St. Jude Parish in New Lenox for 20 years where I have volunteered in many capacities most prominently as a catechist for religious education.
